N E W C O N S T R U C T I O N S

IXPS foam is a new material. The IXPS foam is originated from the XPS foam, a Japanese chemical technology. Besides, it has made improvement on its capability so that it is more suitable for shaping and riding surfboards. It is glassed with epoxy resin and some kind of polyester resin. It isn’t the conventio-nal PU system; it’s recyclable and environmentally friendly. IXPS Foam is very White, light, durable, and with a good flex. Weight is EPS and an about the same feeling, Density is very airtight and quality to exceed PU. This foam is suitable for Machine or hand shaping and its lightness makes it very suitable for mold board shaping. Ther-mal expansion, a hole by the atmospheric pressure expansion are not necessary. The IXPS (waterproof core) is a special developed blank that is waterproof, stronger and lighter than PU, with great flex and spring. The blank does not take in water, so if you get a ding in the water you can be back in the lineup faster than ever before

This core gives you the quiet, smooth, feeling of a polyurethane board but the lightness of an EPS board. Fully waterproof, if you get a small ding, you don’t have to worry about ending your sessionBecause some of the board is stringerless, it removes the two-dimensional res-triction of the board to deliver on that engineered flex. It doesn’t have anything in the middle of the board, therefore, it does not divide the board by two sides. It lets one rail communicate to another rail when you are turning or when you are snapping off the lip.

INNEGRA (high molecular weight

polypropylene) is a high performance fiber used in com-

posite and textile applications which can be converted

into many different reinforcements. The benefits of using

Innegra are: light weight (0.84 g/cc), durable, ductile,

impact resistant, vibration damping, low elongation and

recyclable.But MANUALBOARDS have introce the combi-

nation Carbon/Innegra .High strength hybrid woven car-

bon fiber/Innegra, high impact resistance (polypropylene

fiber of high resistance). Ideal for the high impact re-

sistance mainly for, epoxy boards actually in our range.
