Dear Potential Sponsor, It is my great pleasure to introduce you to Baylor University’s premiere business plan and fast pitch competition, the Baylor New Venture Competition. This competition brings together the top entrepreneurial student talent from across the country to showcase the latest and most innovative tech and non-tech startup ideas. Our mission is to foster the education and development of young entrepreneurs by providing an immersive experiential program that includes mentoring, pitching, and feedback. The 2016 competition marks the program’s fifth year, and we are excited for what promises to be the best competition yet. Hosting the New Venture Competition for the first time at Baylor’s brand new Paul L. Foster Campus for Business and Innovation will be quite a spectacle, and we hope to have you involved with our program to join the excitement and participate in this momentous year in Baylor Business history. Additionally, we have increased the prize money yet again. First place now takes home $50,000 in cash alone! In an effort to continue the growth and success of the competition, we ask for your support. Competition sponsors play an important role in our progress, and we appreciate the opportunity to serve our supporters in ways that guarantee mutual benefit. With this, we are happy to waive registration fees for up to 5 colleagues from each sponsoring company so that the members of your organization can experience entrepreneurship in action at our new facility.
