It’s Sex and the City with Fur...
A brief history of the BearCity Trilogy
In 2010 BearCity took the film festival circuit by storm and caught the independent film community heart by depicting a group of characters affectionately known as “The Bears” in the gay community.
In 2012 the BearCity gang returned to the screen with some new members. Kathy Na-jimy, Richard Riehle and Kevin Smith join our returning cast of bears, boys and cubs, for a Bear Week bachelor party in Provincetown!
In 2016 we took one final adventure into the woods with the BearCity gang, where romance can sometimes be hairy but ultimately worth every hilarious, sometimes painful and all-consuming moment.
BearCity 1 - 1 hour 45 minutes - Subtitles: 6 languages - Genres: Comedy, Romance, Gay BearCity follows a tight-knit pack of friends experiencing comical mis-haps, emotionally sweet yet lusty ro-mantic encounters and a cast of col-orful, diverse characters as they gear up for a big party weekend.
Closet cub Tyler fantasizes about stuffing Santa’s stocking and finding a Daddy bear to do more than cuddle. But as he dives into the bear commu-nity, he finds that it can be hard for a hairless guy to get some fuzzy loving.
Add to that some adorable eye-candy, beer busts and a maybe-not-so-monogamous bear couple for roommates, and BearCity makes for a beartastic summertime romp.

BearCity 2: The Propsal - 1 hour 53 mins - Subtitles: 15 languages - Genres: Comedy, Romance, Gay
Kathy Najimy plays den mother to the returning cast of bears, boys and cubs, for a Bear Week bachelor party in Prov-incetown! Take a trip down the aisle with Roger and Tyler to one of the most magi-cal beach towns on earth in this roman-tic comedy for all.
Kevin Smith, Lt. Dan Choi, Frank DiCaro, Mike Ruiz and Varla Jean Merman, lend their support to our lovable gang as they navigate through a foam party, ex-boy-friends and 6,000 sexy men.
Meanwhile, Richard Riehle (Bridesmaids) as father of the groom, learns a whole new meaning to the word “Daddy!” BearCity 2: The Proposal, is a romp full of fur, fun and family as the bears real-ize that marriage is much more than just the freedom to say “I do.”
BearCity 3 - 1 hour 57 mins - Subtitles: 8 languages - Genres: Comedy, Romance, Gay
After a continuing losing streak that started at the altar, Roger tries to claw out of financial ruin and into the arms of Tyler. But Jay, Ty’s hunky Fire Chief part-ner is not letting that flame blaze.
Meanwhile, fireworks explode when Fred’s obsessive tinkering on their bear documentary conflicts with Brent’s baby prep and the unwavering due date of their new born.
Mama Bear Michael faces major chal-lenges and finds that love comes in all colors, shapes and sizes.
BearCity 3 closes the BearCity Trilogy: the journey of a tight-knit pack of bears, boys, cubs & chubs in the New York City Bear scene.
