What is beauty? Does such a thing as the essence of beauty exist? Can it be timeless?

The beauty that I strive for will be captured in this project.

It will be a restricted, simplied, stylized -and hopefully timeless - piece. It will question what I, as

an imperfect being, perceive as ‘beauty’. It will capture the core of my aesthetics.

In this piece, there will be scenes that combine non-living things with living subjects (such as

aluminum head gures decorated with exotic owers, and huge butteries made out of feathers

hovering over an old cherry wood stump). It will have impactful photography bursting withcontrast. The color palette will be restricted for dramatic lighting.

Every scene will be constructed carefully in a studio, with every detail meticulously considered. It

will have several scenes that will be shot in slow motion, to create an epic, dramatic atmosphere.

 As the piece progresses, these details will animate, with objects spinning on platforms, blowing

away, falling away, and breaking apart in some cases. And through this process, the viewers will

have a chance to observe the beauty that is being constructed and deconstructed- in some ways,

more imperfect – but in some ways, more perfect.

It will have a very muted color palette, with one or two colors popping out to g

viewer’s attention. Contrast will be vital.

It will be fast paced and dramatic. It will combine live footage with photograph

cannot be distinguished if it is still photography or not.

 The music will need to have a fast paced tempo. Something with a strong bea

even dramatic rap would sufce. Will have to explore more on the matter.
