• NVQ Diploma in Trowel Occupations (Construction) Level 2

• Diploma in Bricklaying Level 2

• Functional Skills Maths Level 1 (if required)

• Functional Skills English Level 1 (if required)

• Functional Skills ICT Level 1 (if required)

• Employee Rights and Responsibilities (ERR)

• Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS)

This training programme is ideal for those working in roles such as Bricklayer, Concrete Specialist or Craft Masons within the construction industry. It covers a wide range of practical elements whilst also providing the individual with in-depth knowledge relevant to the trade. It aims to provide individuals with progression opportunities whilst also providing the industry with a well-trained and productive workforce.

Construction - Bricklaying

Duration - 18 months

What you will learn?Units covered can include:

• Understanding information, quantities and communication with others

• Understanding construction technology

• Set out masonry structures

• Construct solid walling incorporating isolated and attached piers

• Construct cavity walling forming masonry structures

• Construct masonry cladding

We want to help you to get the most from your training programme. Therefore, we will provide you with the support and guidance you need through a mixture of face-to-face and online learning. You will have a dedicated Talent Coach who is there to guide you through your training programme. As well as your Talent Coach, you have unlimited access to learning and support materials online. You will also be allocated a dedicated Functional Skills Tutor if applicable. All of this will help you to meet the standards set, resulting in you becoming competent and fully qualified.
