1 History and Philosophy Lunika Construction began as a general works contractor in 2014. The group envisages to undertake many challenging projects and accumulated skills, know-how and experiences in design and build solutions, project management services, building trades and related engineering works. Lunika Construction has become a force to be reckon with and has quickly gained a reputation amongst the Eastern Cape bigger contractors. A small company that prides itself on quality, workmanship, reliability and on time delivery. In a very short space of time Lunika Construction has a very wide client base which include SKG Properties, Stefanutti Stocks, Eastern Cape Gambling Board, Inyathi Construction and Dewing Construction. These are all clients that are very well services by Lunika.

Our objective is to provide our clients with an “I am assured” experience when we are chosen to execute their projects. Our emphasis on clear communication and follow through procedures ensures that client’s objectives are top priority in the planning and execution of all our processes.

Our project management and execution philosophy is: • create detail schedule and resources plan to meet client’s project objective, • communicate clearly with all project stakeholders, • trackprojectprogressandfinetunedeviations, • supervise closely on quality of work done, • complete and commission the project on time and most economic way

He began his career in the banking sector and proceeded to academia specialising in Management, Events Management, Strategic Management He has over 6 year’s experience in Leadership alignment, Research projects, Tourism master/strategic plan, Policy reviews, management, Strategic plan facilitation and Teambuilding Facilitation. Siyabonga has travelled abroad to various countries such as England, Netherlands, Hong Kong and Malaysia on a number of occasions to present research papers at International Conferences. As such he has publications in journals, books, and conference proceedings. Siyabonga has set in a number of boards.

7.1 Refurbishment We deliver small to large refurbishment projects to multiple sectors. These projects are often upgrades to building

assetsownedbystateand federalgovernment, financial institutionsandprivate individuals.Wewill engageclient’s representatives and facilities managers to undertake these projects and we will successfully complete projects for clients. Lunika Construction project team understand how to successfully manage projects in tenant occupied environments minimizing disruption to building tenants.

early stages of the project to identify the project risks. This allows the design to be procured and delivered to exacting standards.
