Chemical Containment Program GoalsConsolidate the number of suppliers.

Reduce aerosol products.• Make the switch from red products (aerosol) to yellow products (non-aerosol) to

green products (certified green). Moving from red products to all green products could cause problems, so we are approaching the conversion in small steps. As more quality green products become available we will add them to the offering.

Reduce duplicate aerosol products.• A shop that carries three different brands of glass cleaner, for example, could

benefit in making the decision to support just one brand, saving money in the process.

Reduce the amount of waste.• Fewer half-empty aerosol cans to keep organized around the shop.• Fewer cans in the landfill.
