53% collection of manuscript from all over the world.

• 20% of manuscripts are preserved in well condition in last 8 years in big museums.

• 80% manuscripts have still not get well treatments so they will becomes in bad condition

• National Manuscript Mission digitised only 10%

manuscripts.

• Foreign countries still published 50% manuscripts while In India only 3%.

Why this happens….

Museums and individual collectors have lack of knowledge of conservation & preservation of Manuscripts.

Manuscript contains all the things which are wrote by man such as inscription on stone, gold, silver, copper, palm leaf, paper etc.
