Northwood

I did my collection of images on the community in Northwood park. I toke a variation of pictures of lots of different sights and main qualities in Northwood.

Making a good photo involves .Simplicity.Framing.Balance.Rule of thirds.Leading linesI tried to include these in all my pictures.

This is the original image I toke of Northwood house.It’s a simple but good picture as it is clear wear I have taken the image.It think it shows most of the rule.

This is the edited image of Northwood house.I have used contrast and brightness, crop, sharpen, and saturation on this image,I think the result is a lot more effective and eye catching.

This is the original image I toke, It is of the side of Northwood house, I think the flower being in the image is really effective as The rest of picture is showing dirt and mould and instead of focusing on that, your drawn to the flower.

This is my edited image,I have used, brightness and contrast, sharpen, black and white and the colour tool.I really like the effect this picture has, as your eye is automatically drawn to the main part of the picture, being the flower.

This is my original image I toke of the steps leading into Northwood,It clearly shows framing and leading lines, I like this image as you can’t really see what is beyond the archway which adds effect to the picture.

This is my edited image,I have used; contrast, saturation, crop, and sharpen on this image.I think what I have done to the image makes it a lot more enhancing real.

This is my original image taken of Northwood house doors, I put the flower in this picture to add some colour and life into the image, It shows balance, framing and simplicity.

This is my edited image, I used; contrast, sharpen tool and saturation on this.I think this image looks a lot more powerful now, the marks on the door are clear and make the image look more real and effective.
