Eff ecti ve September 1, 2012 the Evergreen Associati on of Western New York, Inc. shall be enti rely smoke-free. All designated smoking areas throughout agency faciliti es will be eliminated, all ash receptacles will be removed, and “No Smoking” signs will be placed at various locati ons on Evergreen Associati on man-aged property. The Evergreen Associati on supports an environment where employees, clients, vendors and visitors are not exposed to second-hand smoke. Therefore, smoking is prohibited on all Evergreen Associati on managed property, both indoors and outdoors. This includes but is not limited to:

• all buildings, offi ces, work areas, recepti on areas, meeti ng rooms, lobbies, hallways, stairwells, elevator, eati ng areas, lounges and restrooms• off -site locati ons • open land areas, parking lots, gardens, outdoor paths, and roads• all parti ally enclosed areas including but not limited to covered and uncovered walkways, building entrances and vehicles

Organizers of and att endees at public events, such as conferences, meeti ngs, lectures, social and cul-tural events using Evergreen Associati on managed property will be required to abide by the Associati on‘s Smoke-Free Policy. Organizers of such events are responsible for communicati ng this policy to att endees.
