Connecting Global Networks Locally Brisbane | 10 March 2016

How can we connect movements for change and learn together?

Many practices, theories and movements are emerging and growing as we move towards being more conscious and wise in how humanity impacts the world.

As powerful agents for this change, how can we connect and be in learning together to support each other in this work?

This is a warm invitation into a day together exploring this question.

If you are a change-maker, a practitioner of the myriad new ways of being and doing, or you

are just curious about what’s possible when we share our unique perspectives, please join us. This is a call to ‘gather the tribes’ and see what we discover.

Your hosts will be co-founders of the Art of Hosting Conversations that Matter, Toke Paludan Møller and Monica Nissén. They feel a strong call to contribute their long experience to this

next stage of connecting and supporting good work. Purpose Partners is a small practice of three Art of Hosting practitioners who have invited Toke and Monica to host us and other Australians in this enquiry.

What will we do?

Learn about some powerful basic patterns and processes with internationally renowned elders of the work of co-creation.

Enquire together into some of the burning questions we, as powerful agents for change, have for ourselves, our work, and the world.

Toke Paludan Møller | Denmark Toke has been pioneering the fields of sustainable entrepreneurship, participatory leadership, educational renewal, social responsibility and bringing personal practice to professional life since the early 1970s. He is co-founder, with Monica Nissén, of InterChange,

a for-more-than-profit training and process consulting company based in Denmark. Toke and Monica have worked for and supported the Danish educational system, international NGOs,

public and municipal, national and European governmental institutions, both small and larger companies in the private sector, international networks in many countries, and villages in

Africa, Canada, USA, Japan, Singapore, Australia, Europe, and the Middle East.

Toke is the co-founder/finder of The Art of Hosting, The Flow Game, and the Warrior of the Heart dojo; former Chair of the Board of the Danish Entrepreneurs Association and long-time

international professional conference organiser and process host. For the past 12 years he

has worked with colleagues in support of large-scale systems transformation in England, the US, Canada, Zimbabwe, Australia, Austria, Ivory Coast, Sweden, Scotland and Lithuania as

well as in the European Commission/Ministries. Toke has also been on the faculty of the Kaospilots, ALIA Institute and the Wisdom Council for Kufunda village in Zimbabwe for the last 15 years.

Monica Nissén | Denmark, Finland Monica is a co-founder and practitioner of The Art of Hosting & Harvesting. Starting her

professional life with a degree in architecture, Monica found very early on, that designing processes, was just as interesting as designing buildings. For the past 25 years she has

worked as a process consultant and facilitator. Since Toke and Monica co-founded InterChange in 1991, they have worked with dialogue based, participatory processes, engaging larger groups of people in co-creating solutions, strategies or the futures they want.

In working with larger groups, besides facilitating, her special interest has been “Learning

Ecology” – that is to harvest the results of these conversations, so that the collective wisdom

and insights can be captured and put to good use.
