Community Happenings

Pre-Aliyah Chesed Project Abby and Albie Hochhauser are planning to make aliyah later this year. In honor of this special event, we are collecting baby clothes - new and "like new" for the organi-zation Just One Life, which helps needy Israeli families deal with fi-nancial and other challenges of having a new baby. Please drop off any new or "like new" baby clothes, sizes preemie through 12 months, on the front porch @ 12 Celler Road in Edison. Other lay-ette items such as receiving blan-kets are also welcome. Senior Citizen Audit Program The Senior Citizen Audit Program was created by the Rutgers Univer-sity Board of Governors to permit retired New Jersey residents, age 62 or older, to attend courses on a space-available, noncredit basis. SANCTUARY DOORS Wouldn’t you like to see those old, noisy sanctuary doors replaced?! Well, you can help make that a reality! A collection is underway for donations to replace OE’s sanctuary doors with new, quiet doors that will help beautify our shul. All donations will be acknowledged. BUILDING FUND PUSHKAHS Ohav Emeth has an annual tradition of collecting Building Fund Pushkah money on the first night of Selichot. PARK MIKVAH

The Edison / Highland Park Mikvah will be open Sunday – Thursday from 9-11pm. Friday nights are by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Saturday night August 10th, the hours are 9:45-11:15pm. Saturday nights August 17th and 24th, the hours are 9:30pm to 11:00pm. You must arrive and leave during regular
