June is going to be an exciting month at Emanuel!

We are going to open our campus on Sunday, June 14th, and welcome all who desire to return to

onsite worship celebrations to do so! I am excited and pray you are as well.

There is of course so much to do onsite in preparation for your return. We desire to understand the

guidelines set forth by our County and State and do are very best to prepare for your return. The

accompanying letter explains in more detail what we are doing at Emanuel.

Now, for our ongoing ministries here at Emanuel, many of our Bible studies are returning with proper

physical and social separation. Our groups are meeting in the Social Hall due to the large space

available there to properly spread out. I am thankful that so many of you adhere to the

recommended proper practices given to us by the County and State.

Our Vacation Bible School has shifted gears due to the Corona crisis. We will NOT have an onsite

VBS this year BUT be offering “VBS in a bag”! This will be very different than having 100 awesome

children and dozens of great volunteers on our campus but must done as a safety measure in

accordance with Health Department guidelines. We ask that you go to EmanuelLodi.com and

register your child(ren) or grandchild(ren) for VBS 2020 by June 15! You may also come into the

church Office and fill out the registration as well by June 15.

I encourage you to be engaged in your Christian growth through worship, picking up one of the free

books at the Welcome Center and simply spending time with God in prayer!
