THE ETHICAL PROTECTOR: This one-day class will cover the philosophical, verbal and tactical skills of de-escalation and conflict resolution. As a participant you will:

Enhance your tactical approach to de-escalation. Learn to communicate more successfully under stress to de-escalate and resolve conflict. Learn how to deal more effectively with cultural differences regardless of whether or not you "know" the

culture. Develop a better understanding of your role as a guardian and Ethical Protector of the community you

serve.

The course is conducted by Resolution Group International. RGI was formed by experienced law enforcement, military,

and education professionals to provide a specialized approach to conflict de-escalation and conflict resolution

training. Their synergistic formula of ethical, verbal and physical skills is unique. The lead instructor is Mr. Jack Hoban

who is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the U.S. Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP). He has provided training

on ethics, de-escalation techniques and conflict resolution in over 500 workshops and seminars around the world. They

include the FBI, NYPD, Chicago PD, universities, and other government and private organizations. His presentations are

interactive, informative and entertaining. His unique business, military experience and extensive 30-year background in

the subject matter are without peer. He is also the author of the book, "The Ethical Warrior."

The Monmouth Municipal Joint Insurance Fund in cooperation with the Center for Public Safety & Security (CPSS) at Stockton University, has developed a series of four

seminars that will be presented during 2016 at the Monmouth County Police Academy. Two classes will be scheduled for the Spring of 2016 and two for the Fall.
