About SICE 2020SICE 2020 provides a unique forum for researchers andpracticing specialists to share their research work in the broadinter-disciplinary field of Structural Integrity. The organizers ofSICE 2020 invite contributions related to both fundamental andapplied research. We strongly encourage industry to participateand share their work involving technologically challengingsolutions. The Dec 12-13 Pre-Conference Workshop will coveremerging technologies related to analyses as well asexperimental research. This together with the theme-relatedExpo and the Conference Technical Program, from 14 to 16December 2020, is intended to provide a unique networkingopportunity to Structural Integrity professionals from across theglobe. SICE 2018 attracted over 400 participants from aroundthe world. We expect to see many more at SICE 2020!

Victor Menezes Convention Center, located inside IITBombay campus, provides world-class amenities forthe conference and exhibition. The IIT campus issandwiched between two lakes, Vihar and Powai, inthe northern suburbs of Mumbai City, not far from theChathrapati Shivaji International Airport, which is just12 km away. Besides, December is the perfectseason to visit Mumbai and nearby tourist attractions,including hill stations and beaches.A wide choice of accommodation is available in andaround the campus, with plenty of hotels that fitindividual budgets. Student Paper CompetitionIn SICE 2020, we are excited to introduce a studentpaper competition, for the best paper and posterawards. The oral presentations will be held in separatesessions, where all the selected participants willpresent their work to the audience and judges.Similarly, the poster presentations will take place indedicated sessions, and will be held together for allthe participants. The papers and posters will bejudged on the basis of submitted 2 page extendedabstract plus oral presentation and/or poster pluspresentation quality. Prizes with certificates await thewinners. While submitting your abstracts, indicate ifyou want to participate in the competition by selectingthe option available.
