Step 1: Analyse the Problem

• Student surveys to discover our attitude to litter and our environment

Step 2: Plan of Action

Targets• Reduce litter in the school and

general locality

• Increase awareness about littering

• Change attitudes

• Foster a sense of pride for the area in all our students

Step 3: Taking Action

Clean-Up Day

Improving the local area

• Regular updates by Principal and on noticeboard

• Involve all students in recycling and cleaning process

Our Progress to Date…

• A huge reduction in litter in the school and locality

• Increased awareness about the importance of recycling and reducing litter

Our Plans for the Future…..

• Develop a wildlife garden in our litter blackspot area

• Dulux project to enhance our school

• Aim: to instill a sense of pride in our students for our local area and the world beyond it….
