Synergistic Activities:

Dr. Kaltham Al-Ghanim has conducted field research related to urbanization, human and cultural development, political participation, rights of workers and work values among young people. She has authored three specialized University academic books and published several studies in the area of political participation, labor rights, violence against women, and domestic violence. She has an interest in folklore studies, culture with a focus on local knowledge and an emphasis on the importance of sustainable development. She had a major role in preparing documents, printed material, and media publication for the Central Municipality as part of the preparing committee activities of municipality council Elections, 1998-1999. She played an important role in formulating the national strategies with the Supreme Council for Family Affairs and Planning Council, and the Ministry of Culture in Qatar, 2002- 2012. She participated in preparing the establishing of the center for family consulting in 2002 and Bheavioural Helath care center 2014 . She was the main author for the first national human development report for Qatar 2006. She participated in preparation of the labour force strategic plan and prepared the plan of action for the Social Rehabilitation Center in Qatar in 2008, Head of the Strategic plan team in the Ministry of Culture 2011-2012, and Prepared the strtigic plan for Qatar Heritage and Identify Center 2012 . Dr. Kaltham leads several research projects funded by various national and international institutions.
