One of the most precious resources we care for are our human resources, those who serve God daily.
As we contemplate the complexities of Managing Human Resources, some of the topics we will explore together will include: • Affordable Care Act Update / Projections
• Exempt vs. Non-Exempt / Hourly vs. Salaried
• Performance Evaluations / Use 'em or Loose 'em?
• Job Descriptions
• Employee Record Keeping / Do's and Don'ts
• Interview Questions / Did you really just ask that?
• Background Checks and References
• Progressive Discipline
• Setting Compensation / Fair & Equitable?
• Keeping Your Employee Handbook Up To Date
• Bonuses, Love Offerings & Uncle Sam
• Developing Ministry Staffing Plans / Staffing For
Growth
As administrators we are entrusted with being good
stewards or caretakers of the resources of the church.
Senior Pastor Dr. Charles Price explained that "the
church operates primarily out of Divine Resources, with
Christ Himself the Head and the Life of His Church.
Effective churches operate under His Lordship and in
His strength. However, the way God chooses to work is
through human beings and therefore we need to know
the best practices for working together in unity with
each other, as well as in union with Christ."
Please invite your Staff-Parish Chair and HR Directors to attend!
