THE 36th ANNUAL PENNSYLVANIA CAREER AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION CONFERENCE

PA•CTEC 2010Connecting Education & Careers

You’re Invited! On behalf of the Bureau of Career and Technical Education and the Pennsylvania Career and Technical Education Conference (PA•CTEC) Policy and Planning Committee members, we invite you to participate in PA•CTEC 2010!

We are proud to once again provide you with numerous professional development workshops and technical updating seminars, several of which will be hosted at the Lancaster County Career & Technology Center. The Technology Boot Camp was so popular that it will be offered again. The hands-on seminars will focus on ways to build your own personal learning network and will be conducted at the Lancaster Marriott. We have also chosen two wonderful keynote speakers – Chef Jeff Henderson, an award-winning chef and inspirational speaker and Janet Bray, the Executive Director of ACTE.

PA•CTEC provides tremendous opportunities for you to learn about proven educational practices in CTE through the workshops, sessions, and seminars, in the Exhibit Hall, and through many opportunities to network with other educators. Our hope is that you will leave PA•CTEC feeling better prepared to lead your students to greater learning experiences.

As you make your summer 2010 plans, include June 28-30 at the new Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square. We’re looking forward to seeing you there! Sincerely,

• Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE), Bureau of Career and Technical Education (BCTE) • Pennsylvania Association of Career and Technical Administrators (PACTA) • Pennsylvania Association for Career and Technical Education (PA-ACTE) • Pennsylvania State Education Association, Department of Career & Technical Studies (PSEA/DCTS)
