II. NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS:

Totally 76 participants from various Laboratories and Scan Centres located

in Puducherry region has participated in the workshop.

III. DISCUSSIONS IN WORKSHOP:

� All the Laboratories and Scan Centres were insisted to register under

Clinical Establishment Act 2010, Puducherry.

� PowerPoint Presentation on Bio Medical Waste Management rules and

Segregation.

� Get Authorization from Pondicherry Pollution Control Board.

� PowerPoint Presentation on Rules and Regulations and Legal Aspects of

Clinical Establishment Act 2010

� PowerPoint Presentation on Prevention and testing for Corona Virus.

� Submitting the communicable disease report for Laboratory Surveillance to

Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme.

IV: CONCLUSION:

All participants have unanimously agreed to implement the points discussed in

the Workshop.
