Design Aspects.• Point focus device where receiver rotates along with dish.• 16 sqm aperture area, with 4.5 Diameter with focus

height of 2.25m.• Aesthetic design ensuring maximum strength and

durability in different weather conditions.• Balanced dish for minimum tracking load.• Single pole mounting structure.• CR ratio of 228 with temperature up to 200 degree Celsius

and 10 Bar pressure.


Design Aspects.• Laser assisted fabrication for higher precision.• Plug and play model for easy assembly and

installation.• Solar dish is engineered to be roof mounted as

well as ground mounted.• Peak thermal output of 7 kW and delivers Avg

45Kwh per day.• Works at efficiency of 65 %


Reflective petal• Reflecting surface made of 12 petals.• Alanod aluminium foil with 90 % reflectivity,

with PVD protection.• Enhanced point focus device.• 3 mm Fibre reinforced plastic(FRP) as backing

for aluminium foil.• Light weight design with maximum strength.• Stiffeners at both side to make robust structure.

Solar tracking and Controller• Photo sensor based tracking .• Serial Communication, along with provision for wi-fi.• 24 V , 1 A DC motor for rotation.• Implemented with cloudy condition tracking. • IP 65 protection cover for controller.• Rack and pinion mechanism for increased accuracy and

power economy.• Consistent sun lock throughout the year


• Auto mode and manual mode of rotation.• Go back to morning position based on RTC

value.• GUI to show the status and health of the

dish.

Government policies

• 30 % subsidy on project cost from MNRE( Ministry of new and renewable energy), Govt of India and 60 % in case of special category states.• 20 % financial assistance from UNDP GEF project.• Soft loan scheme from under MNRE-IREDA-UNIDO project with interest

rate of 7 % for a period of 7 years.• 10% additional subsidy from UNDP-GEF project for cooling applications.• 80 % tax depreciation for profit earning bodies which will account for 26 %

of the project cost
