DESCRIPTION

The 6th National Convention of 2014 will gather leaders from the academe, the local government and the civil society to share and listen to actual experience on disaster with the end of enhancing the creation of knowledge on vulnerability, risk, capability and disaster through research to come up with actionable knowledge that can be the basis of knowledgeable action in managing risk of disasters. As guardians of the most important element of the universe – life, I commend the participants and wish them well in their valiant stance to be in the proactive line in addressing disaster risk exacerbated by climate change. To all movers in the country and elsewhere, congratulations! Let us celebrate our 18th year anniversary with a stronger resolve to push our advocacy carried not by the ways of Public Relations but driven by a heart and mind of a Mover.
