Is There Something You Can Do All Day, Every Day, That People Praise You For?

If there is, then this is something that you are good at!

Looking At People Who Are Successful In Their Industry, One Major Similarity Amongst Them Can Be Found.

They all love what they are doing, and what they are doing comes naturally to them.

If you study these people, you will see how gifted they are at their given profession.

I Took A Philosophy Class About Ethics In College.

I remember Bono being very active in many causes at the time, speaking out on the

behalf of many of those causes.

The teacher of my class stated that she thought Bono was wrong to speak about so many things he could not know much about, and that he should leave the talking to the

experts.

Was Bono Really Wrong? Should One Have To Possess The Proper Education In Order To Speak Out?

If you read any of the gossip magazines, you will surely find some celebrity or other taking

up a cause, whether it be poverty, a particular illness, etc.

Though these celebrities are not “experts” for these causes, they are geniuses in the sense that they had the ability to become

very famous and touch millions of people’s lives.

This is no small feat.

Lou Wasserman, The Founder Of Universal, Was An Extraordinary Man.

He made his studio and its early films successful with an understanding of what

people wanted:

STARS!

He realized that they had “pulling power,” and that they could make a movie successful.

Page 7: Concentrate on Your Strengths

These Stars Possess Extraordinary Abilities. Those Who Run The Studio Possess Extraordinary Abilities.

Everyone around you possesses some extraordinary ability.

Whatever your ability is, you need to make the most of it.

Any Time I Have Experienced Trouble In Business, It Was Likely Due To The Fact That I Did Not Understand What I Was Doing.

• I started a real estate company just before the market collapsed.

• I started a student loan company, and then watched that market collapse.

I am best in career development. And whenever I have strayed from this, I have

gotten into trouble.

Take This To Heart: In Your Career, Stay Close To What You Are Good At.

When you share with others, and the sentiment comes from your heart, others can sense it and it

makes them happier to be around you.

When I Was Running My Asphalt Business In Detroit, I Began Receiving Dozens Of Requests To Construct Belgian Brick Driveways.

The Belgian Brick was something that was used to weigh down the boats sailing here from Europe. When the

boats arrived, the bricks were thrown off, and at some point it became

fashionable to line your driveway with these bricks.

The Mistake I Made Was That I Was Not A Brick Layer.

A lady had asked me to do her driveway in Belgian Bricks. I had anticipated it

taking just a couple of hours.

It took me three days.

And the work didn’t even turn out very well.

My Employees Were Mad At Me, My Customers Were Mad At Me, And I Had Also Lost Out On Thousands Of Dollars Worth Of Business.

Being a brick layer is much different than working with Asphalt.

I hated that Belgian Brick job.

You Need To Stick With What Comes Natural To You.

I began my legal career in tax law. Tax law seemed to come really natural to me.

In fact, had I taken more classes about tax law in college, I’m sure I would have had a

higher GPA.

In Grade School, Math Class Use To Be Quite Boring For Me.

I would learn whatever the teacher was talking about early on in the class, and then

no longer be able to pay attention.

This prevented me from paying attention, and learning what was taught later.

Social Studies was entirely different and I was engaged the entire time.

This is a sign that one is doing what comes natural to them.

One Thing I Find Interesting About Teen Movies Is That There Is Always A “Popular” Crowd And An “Unpopular” Crowd.

The people in the “popular” crowd are not always the smartest, but they are gifted at

socializing.

People who go to parties several times a week actually are, and can become, quite

good at socializing.

It is what they are good at!

To Be Successful In Your Career, You Need To Focus On What Comes Naturally To You.

Find a career that makes you say,

“I don’t understand why this is so difficult for people?”

When you go into fields that do not come naturally to you, you will end up feeling

guilty and inadequate.
