the need of forming Human Resources.

• Education solely within the project/mission itself is not

ideal:

o Urgencies of the mission.

o Lack of proper language and experience.

• Limited offer of specific carreers on the subject.

• Within these need, there is a group of highly specialized

professionals needed for current (or near future)

projects.

o Focused and specific education.

o Demand changes rapidly from year to year.

• CONAE is the organization with the global view of the

needs of the National Space Program, ideal to

coordinate this specialized education.

o In each case the proper academic partner is sought.

• Two-year Masters of Science programs

• + Allows faculty and partial credit students to participate.

• Student related to a Development Unit (UD) before starting

the program.* (very hands on)

• Focused on Research but supports education (it will more and more…).

• San Martín National University has a history of Space Activities:

• Labosat, Microsat, 13 Engineering carrees, one with space orientation.

• The idea is to support UFS carreers with a Quality

assurance/Management related graduate carreer.

• Oil the link between industry, academia and government, .

• Laboratories are being defined and specified:

• Formation Flying

• Distributed Systems

• Space software research, development and support Laboratory

• Non-Chemical propulsión Laboratory.

• Space Quality Meeting (4 days)

• IAA Latin American Symposium on Small Satellites.

• Right now looking for experienced people to lead the laboratorios.

• Later on (months) will look for researchers.

• Symposium as thermometer…
