CS190● 107/118 students said it was a worthwhile learning experience.● We teach them necessary tools:
○ shell, UNIX commands, git, Eclipse, Make, etc.● Course renewed for another year
○ Every other week, concurrent with CS191● Created and taught by USB members● One big lecture with 300+ students● 17 recitations with ~15 students in a lab
BoilerMake: Career Fair 2.0

from 7-9pm in LWSN B130● USB currently employs two student tutors
(sponsored by Boeing)● Average attendance: ~10 students● Future Plans
○ Expand number of tutors to 4 total in order to allow more one-on-one assistance
○ Potentially add special sessions close to project deadlines
○ Ensure further promotion of room by Advisors, Faculty, and USB members
Project Management Course● Teach project management skills to CS majors● 300 level course● Guest speakers from companies● Students in course would potentially manage a
CS307 (Software Engineering) team● Working on getting course approved
○ Initial proposal is drawn up and ready to be presented to faculty

○ Changing to a “Cook-In” this semester○ Grand-Alternative event allowing all CS students, faculty, and
staff to socialize over McAlister’s catering and participate in fun activities
