HTML code used on the web recognizes two basic graphic formats GIF AND JPEG.

JPEG ( Joint Photographic Exchange Group) As general rule , photos should be saved as JPEGs.

GIF (Graphic Interchange Format)These files contain 256 colors or less and should generally be used for non-photo graphics .All of the images on these tutorial pages are saved in GIF format .

To add a photo or graphic to a web page :

Click Insert Menu Picture from File .

The picture dialog box opens .

Browse and click the file to be inserted . Click

insert

Shows with the inserted picture .

Microsoft FrontPage includes the microsoft clip organizer.

you can preview clip art, graphics ,and videos, and then

select items to use on your page .

click on the Insert menu Picture clip

art .

The Insert Clip task panel opens , type a word

that describes the clip you want in the search text

box click search .

In the Result list , click the clip to insert it .

MS-FrontPage also allows inserting the T ables

in the web page .A table is made up of rows and

columns of cells into which text and graphics

can be added .There are different ways to use

tables ,and you can make your tables in a variety

of ways to make them more attractive and easy

to read.

Click the mouse pointer at the place where you

want to insert the table.

Click on the Table menu Insert Table .

The Insert Table dialog box opens.

Type the number of rows in the rows box and

number of columns in columns box .

Select the position of the table on the page from

the alignment box .

Type the width of the table border in the table

border box.

Shows the web page with a

table inserted.
