Computer Connectivity for C. C. Conference Room At Holy Redeemer Health System
Step 1: Obtain Laptop (contact Hyacinth Mitchell, Information Management at 82094). Please note: if internet connection is needed, please be sure to obtain a network-ready laptop. Step 2: Schedule Information Management to setup I.P. address (for online access). Contact Helpdesk at least 3 days prior to date of your conference. Step 3: Once laptop is on hand, connect VGA cable (which remains on podium) to back of laptop:

Step 4: Plug power cord from laptop in the electrical outlet on the podium:

Step 6: If sound on laptop is needed (separate than phone), connect the audio cable (from the podium) on the back of the laptop:
Step 7: Connect laptop to network for internet access (cable can be located under podium or contact Information Management for network cable). Network cable plugs into the side of the laptop and then into wall (side where doorway is)

Step 8: Power on the laptop. Step 9: Plasma screen: Under ‘Fijitsu’, depress the power button:

network connection near the podium.

Step 10: Next, press POWER button on the bottom right of the plasma screen:

Step 12: On laptop, see startup screen:
Step 13: Press CTRL+ALT+DEL to proceed to login. For login, this will depend on laptop being used. Example: if laptop B is being used, login will be laptopb and password is 12345. Check stickers on the laptop for login and password.

Step 14: Launch Internet Explorer. Step 15: If necessary, press FN + F8 on laptop to toggle screen image from laptop to plasma screen (press this key combination slowly, hold down the FN key on the laptop and then while pressing FN, press the F8 key or other function key which indicates LCD/CRT; press 3 times slowly to toggle from laptop, to plasma screen, or to view on both). Step 16: Make sure the plasma screen is in RGB1 mode. Press Mode button (next to power button) on bottom of plasma screen if needed. Step 17: WHEN FINISHED, shut down laptop; power off laptop; power off plasma screen (both power buttons). Disconnect all cables.
