Composi-Tight 3D™ Sectional Matrix
Feature and BenefitsThis System is designed to create tight, anatomical
contacts on Class II composite restorations. The contoured sectional matrix bands create proper
tooth anatomy while two styles of rings create the required tooth separation and band adaptation for a tight, natural contact.
Soft Face™ 3D-RingThe orange Soft Face™ 3D-Ring will
be the ring used in most circumstances because of its ease of placement and its ability to adapt to a wide variety of tooth anatomies while reducing flash and restoring proper contour.
Thin Tine G-RingThe thin tine G-Ring (gray) is utilized in certain
conditions where the shape of the dentition will not allow the contoured shape of the Soft Face™ 3D-Ring (orange) to grip tightly around the tooth, such as the distal of a canine.
In this condition, the burnished ends of the thin tine G-Ring will adapt and retain more effectively. The thin tine G-Ring may also be preferred for malpositioned or predodontic applications.
Flash Is Gone!Three-dimensionally contoured tips
with Soft Face™ adaptable silicone hug the matrix band to the tooth.
Flash is virtually eliminated, greatly reducing finishing time. No sectional system seals better or produces more anatomically accurate restorations.
Maximum SeparationA firm core in the center of
each soft, adaptable tip directs the ring's tension interproximally where it is most effective for the separation of teeth. Other V-shaped rings push more on the sides
of the teeth.
Fast and Easy To Place
The slotted bottom fits directly over the wedge simplifying placement and allowing for wedge adjustment.
Easy Wide Embrasures
The tips of the new Soft-Face™ 3D-Ring are wider than standard separator rings allowing placement on wider embrasures.
Contact matrix
Contact matrix makes tight contacts easy! Contact Matrices are contoured to
restore the natural anatomy. Proximal finishing is greatly reduced or eliminated.
Danville Materials, makers of Contact Matrix: offer tidy little packages that include an
assortment of precontoured, burnishable matrix formers along with their respective retaining/separating rings and placement forceps.
Omni-Matrix™ Sectional
Omni-Matrix™ SectionalIt is bands conform to the natural
anatomy of the tooth, while the clamp tines provide multiple contact points. Specialized band contour ensures the edge of the matrix will not catch on the gingival margin during placement.
Omni-Matrix™ SectionalThe retainer clamps stack easily, allowing both
sides of the tooth to be held in a matrix at the same time.
The retainer can be placed with any rubber dam forceps or sectional matrix forceps. The bands are interchangeable with all brands of sectional retainers.
Matrices and Retainer Clamps Advantages :o Creates restorations with natural anatomyo Thin, flexible bands easily conform to any
surfaceo No special matrix pliers requiredo One clamp fits all teetho Clamps are stackable

The advantages:• Fitted and removed within a few seconds.• Optimal fillings and applied with a single motion.• Fits tightly and safely like a corset.• Automatically adapts it self toconical tooth shapes.• Patients can close their mouth sand bite when the matrix is
inplace.• No screws or spanners are required.• Easy to sterilise and extremely durable.• Extremely thin matrix strips(only0.05mm).
Fender matrix
Fender matrixThe pre-curved, one-piece sectional matrix and wedge provides for quick
composite restorations, with a tight contact and cervical sealing.
Final shaping and polishing is only required on the easily accessable
lingual and buccal surfaces, while the cervical sealing remains intact.
Fender matrix
FenderMate is indicated for small to medium Class II composite fillings.
FenderMate offers a fast, safe and predictable means of establishing a composite restoration.
Fender matrix
FenderMate is designed to be inserted either buccally or lingually.
The matrix reaches from the base of the wedge to just a few millimeters above the occlusal surface.
Two sizesFender Mate is available in two wedge sizes; Regular
and Narrow.
Regular sizes are dark in colour, while Narrow is light.
FenderMate wedges are coloured either Blue or
Green to define Left or Right side respectively.
It is may be applied buccally or lingually for best fit.
When FenderMate is removed with either tweezers or forceps, the matrix and
wedge may separate .
This does not present a problem as matrix and wedge can easily be removed individually.
