Located in the newly formed DuBiotech Science Park in Dubai, Bio-Rad is a leading product provider for the fast growing Middle East Healthcare Industry. The state of the art facility, made up many lab areas, required a specialized lighting design focusing on the specific environment requirements. European LED Healthcare specific products used throughout all areas to achieve the IP (Ingress Protection) and CRI (Colour Rendering Index) specialized requirements.

YUM – two new units acquired in Media City with a ten week turnaround from start to finish. The tight program was achieved with European Manufactured Low Powered Efficient LED Lighting, achieving YUM’s worldwide corporate guidelines.

UBS* Office Renovation

Headquartered in Zurich and Basel, the UBS Group is a global firm providing financial services to private, corporate and institutional clients. The UBS Group is present in all major financial centers and has offices in over 50 countries. The UBS Group employs approximately 60,000 people around the world. The UBS Group’s historical roots stretch back more than a century.

UBS, based in Dubai’s Financial Center, required a renovation to its Middle East Head Office. The MED Head Office, initially completed in 2010, had become dark and gloomy throughout. Solas used state of the heart LED technology replacing all fluorescent & incandescent throughout the full floor office space. The new lighting design provided 72% saving on Energy and most importantly increased the office lighting levels/ambiance by over 40% compared to traditional light source previously installed.

UBER* Design and Supply Service

Uber Technologies Inc. is an American multinational online transportation network company headquartered in San Francisco, California. It develops, markets and operates the Uber mobile app, which allows consumers with smartphones to submit a trip request which is then routed to Uber drivers who use their own cars. As of May

2016, the service was available in over 66 countries and 449 cities worldwide.

Uber required a quick and economical fit out solution to align with their worldwide growth plans. A small size unit in Media City was modified within 4 weeks, allowing the Uber operations to fully launch acroos Dubai.

Established in 1985, Robert Walters plc is a world-leading specialist professional recruitment consultancy and the core brand of the Group.

This new vibrant open planned office is located in the Burj Daman Tower in the Heart of Dubai Financial District. Solas partnered with INC Group’s design team to create a vibrant space in the hottest new office space in Dubai.

very specific requirements from the client, we worked with suppliers around the world to source and deliver the ideal solution.

ABDUL LATIF JAMEEL* Lighting Design & Supply

Based in the heart of JLT, this project consisted of a 5 floor fit-out over a 12 month period.

Working closely with the architect we designed a large selection of lighting and dimming solutions for the 5 floors. Areas ranged from open plan workstations, breakout areas to large corner offices and meeting rooms. All meeting rooms consisted of fully integrated dimming systems with centrally and remotely controlled features.
