OBJECTIVESThe objective of Perth Netball Association (Inc) (PNA) i to provide competitions for members of affiliated Clubs, to enable who have reached the standard of the various divisions an equal opportunity to play against other of similar ability, over a given period of time. PNA aims to enhance netball and foster friendly rivalry, as a means of promoting netball participation and improving netball standards across the competition.

    1.1. Definitions and Interpretations

    Affiliated Club and Club means a lub or association affiliated with the Association.

    Association means Perth Netball Association (Inc).

    Clearance means clearing of a member from one lub to another after registration has occurred.

    Club means any group of or any singular

    Competition means any Perth Netball Association run competition.

    Delisting means removing a player from a am listing.

    Deregister/withdrawal means removing a member from the affiliation listing of a .

    Division means a graded zoned section within a competition comprising of

    similar standard and ability.

    Fixtures are the list of scheduled matches between for a division of a competition.

    Grading means the process used by the competition committee to allocate

    into divisions.

    Junior means any player under the age of 18 at the 31st of December of the current year.

    Match is the game played between two on a scheduled fixture date of the competition.

    MyNetball is the national data base package used for recording and facilitating all competition information.

    Open means any player above school age but a minimum age of 15 at the 31st of December of the current year except where otherwise specified.

    Player means a person who is a financial member and who qualifies to play in a PNA competition.

    Points means a scoring system applied for winning or drawing matches. The total points

    Round means all the matches played on a particular day.

    Transfer means m one lub to another within the

    MyNetball database system.

    Clubs/Schools/ : herein referred to as Clubs. Each affiliating with the Association shall be required to:

    Complete the approved affiliation registration and other forms as requested and return themto the PNA administration Office by the date stipulated.Pay the Affiliation Fee and annual subscription determined by the Executive.Agree to abide by the Constitution, By-laws and Competition Handbook of the Associationand to ensure that their members do the same.Provide a photographic copy of the uniform both front and back.Nominate up to two contacts for correspondence and notifications. The first named

    Club s must also nominate a MyNetball User. This may be in addition to the two named contacts.

    Individuals: All individuals must be affiliated via a or PNA.The affiliation fee consists of Netball WA and Perth Lions Netball Region.

    Outstanding monies: Affiliation will not be accepted from Club s/Players/Individuals who have outstanding moniesto Club s, PNA, Perth Lions Netball Region, Netball WA.

    player nomination closes and prior to the first round of matches Applies to All Teams at PNA Links to Match Day New Player Registration Form Limitations Forms Match Day Registration Form Review Annually

    Registering a New Player after Player Nomination Day prior to Match Day Registrations of new players should be via Online MyNetball Registration Forms.

    Co-ordinators should notify the PNA Office of the Registration via email [email protected] , the Players Name, Date of Birth, MyNetball ID Number and the Team the player will be registered in.

    Registering a New Player on Match Day: Registrations of New Players should be via the Match Day - New Player Registration Form submitted to the Match Day Office. These forms will need to be signed by a official. The forms are available online and at the Match Day Office. Once submitted PNA will organise for the registration of the player via MyNetball and will add the player to the list and scorecard as outlined on the Match Day New Player Registration Form.

    To ensure a smooth running competition, PNA has officials on hand from 7.30am until 6.00pm to resolve any issues that may arise throughout the day.

    PNA will conduct a Winter Competition to be run from May to September with dates approved by the Executive at the end of the preceding year to be announced at the AGM and published in the PNA calendar. Competitions will be;
