COMPENDIUM

The CMYK selected bloggers or Beyond the Blog. The New Kids On The Blog. Etc. (working title)

Let us be honest. We have not been going from door to door in search of theillustrators you will find here; neither we have been through design, illustrationor art schools, or even spoken with gallery directors or representatives; However,we have been routing through the WEB, jumping from blog to blog; and after a hardand meticulous selection's process, with an excessive and arduous work's hours ofRGB inflicted in our pupils, one thing remains very clear to us: - Long ago was thetime, when the main problem for an artist was (diffusion, to become public and thesuccess of a planning scandal)- But today, by the same distance of a "click", notonly you will find the possibility to exhibit this to millions of people inuncountable places, but also the power to enjoy this work.

Now, the blogs (or whatever for sure, this mutate into) arrived to stay.

The vast majority of illustrators from this excellent selection were contactedthrough their blogs, without absolutely nothing to mediate between the person whoorganizes this selection and the illustrators or artists; except for a few bits.

Now, this will lead us to what really matters; if the problem is no longer to watchor been watched, then, we can go back to basics; which is: Quality and Commotion.

The illustrations selection collected here, represents the best of our seven seas, which you can get when you go through the blog-sphere.

The tendencies here as a varied as our Hyper-Modernity dictate us; However, besidesthe artistic's worth, there is a common denominator: " "everything is soft, hairyand edible¨" and we say that by opposing " harsh, hairless, and unpalatable times".

Now, in all of them , gravitates an interest for all kind of relations, fromHistoric-Artistic's references (Millais-Decollage) to the over-heated digital taste; from naivety and what is so intentionally childish to sarcasm and theirony of mass-media aristocracy.

To gather them in a book, with atoms ; well you could say ,that it isn't sheerstupidity, but instead, is to confer it with the thickness and the weight of a "bit's volatile vortex". It is like going from RGB to CMYK and vice-versa, thereforethis should be registered
