Brass Candlestick, UT-30, 8.25” tall. Brass Navigation Dividers, UT-29, 5” long. Amsterdam Flagon, UT-5 Features a hinged lid, approx. One quart capacity, 8” tall. Bringing History to Life Portuguese ship, Nossa Senhora Do Rosario, off the coast of Brazil. The Utrecht and another Dutch ship, the Huys Nassau, attacked the Rosario in an attempt to board and capture it. The captain of the Rosario, following orders not to allow his vessel to fall into enemy hands, blew up his ship. The explosion also sank the Utrecht and damaged the Nassau. The archaeological findings from this ship represent the largest collection of pewter artifacts found on a shipwreck. We have selected a group of the most popular and interesting of these pewter and brass artifacts to be reproduced.
