Introduction• Waiting of Godot is a
play written by Samuel Becket.
• Waiting for Godot is Beckett’s translation of his own original French version, En Attendant Godot, and is subtitled “a tragicomedy in two acts”.
Tramp
• A tramp is a long term homeless person who travels from place to place as a vagrant, traditionally waking all year round.
• The word tramp became a common way to refers to such people in 19th century Britain and America.
