• 1998 – Foundation in October – started with E1 interface converters

• 1999 – Started project of DmView Network Management System

• 2000 – Launch of E1 multiplexer, DM705.

reduction

• 2005 – Launch of first Metro Ethernet Switch – FCC+CE+RoHS

DATACOM DM4000 is a carrier class Metro Ethernet Switch line. Fully modular.

Supports MPLS-LER/LSR, L3 and L2 wire-speed switching

DM4000 product line is presented in 3 chassis sizes, with different number of available slots

for interface modules (8,4,1) and support for several interface and processing modules.

Interface modules include SFP and RJ-45 based Gigabit Ethernet ports and 10G XFP ports.

DM4008 supports up to 384 GBE ports or up to 32 10G ports.

Support of PWE cards (32xE1 or4xSTM-1 per card) for backhaul applications enhanced by

1588v2 robust sync distribution
