PROJECT BRIEFS : OMYAA calcium carbonate plant situated in Taloja, India. Thetotal material conveying system along with flat beltconveyors, feeders, ball mill, hammer mill, vibratingscreens, bucket elevators, rack and pinion gates, screwconveyors and pneumatic conveying system has beendesigned, supplied and successfully commissioned byTrans Tech Turnkey Private limited on turnkey basis.

The scope also included total civil, electrical andautomation, technological structures, HVAC and Utilities.

A front end loader feeds the processing equipment which comprises of:

• Hammer Mill Crushing and closed circuit screening to reduce the feedto -0.3 mm.

• One Ball Mill grinding circuit for production of OC1, OC2, and OC5sized products from proprietary Classifier.

• One coating circuits to produce OC1T and OC2T products. • Storage silos to hold bulk quantities of these products.• Flat Belt Conveyor capacity of 150 TPH of approximate length of 1

km.• Bucket elevator in the feed zone of a capacity 200 TPH.• Vibrating feeders and Numbers of screw conveyors along with one

pneumatic conveying system

The finished products is either transferred from Silos to the trucks ortaken to the packing section and packed in 50 kg packs.

The plant is automated by PLC and operations are monitored by aSCADA system. The two systems are interfaced and controlled from acentral control room.

SMI (Specialty Minerals Inc.)Lime Handling, Conveying, screening and storage facility inturnkey basis. Conveying is done through conveyor belts of150 TPH capacity and screened in Ultra Flow Screens beforeconveying the finished products to the storage Silos.

The system also included screw conveyors and vibratoryfeeders along with rack and pinion gates and othertechnological structures.

Six (6) projects of similar nature has been completed byTrans Tech on turnkey basis.

Conveying System (29 Conveyors) forRaw Material Handling System forGranular Slag Disposal System. Theconveyors are of 800 tph and1600tph capacity with belt width of1200 and 1600.

The system also has equipment liketripper, vibrating feeders, flap gatesand other accessories. The scope alsoincluded fabrication and erection of27000 MT of structural steel and civilwork worth Rs. 60 Crore.
