Envision Tech was established in 2008 by Eng. Faisal Nasser Al-Kharafi to specialize in Audiovisual Systems, Engineering and Integration.

The company is a privately held corporation with small business status, and has grown from a handful of people to more than 50 people and a 5000 square foot of facilities distributed between show room, Offices and warehouses located in Shwaikh Industrial Area and HSBC Tower, Qibla - Kuwait.

Envision is awarded the biggest contract for AV scope in the Middle East for The College of arts and Education at Sabah Al-Salem University - Kuwait to Design, Fabricate, Supply, Install, and maintain the Audio Visual Works and Projection Screens.

C a s e S t u d i e s1-Integration Case study: Central Bank of Kuwait

The Challenge in the central Bank of Kuwait was to integrate 7 main systems that contained another 5 subsystems. Each coming from a different vendor, using a different methodology in integration.The systems were:1) BAS (including fire, HVAC, gas detection,UPS and electrical points monitoring under it)2) Lighting management system3) Emergency lighting system (with a central Battery system also integrated to it)4) ACUs and FTUs( got their own BMS from Carell Italy)5) Elevator management system6) IP TV system 7) Master clock systemThe challenge was that BAS, ACUs and FTUs are using Bacnet/IP protocol. Lighting management and Emergency lighting are using LON protocol. Elevator system is using Modbus/IP protocol, Master clock system is using SNMP traps.

For the IPTV system, it didn’t have an open protocol interface, but instead they gave an API file. Envision Team decided to use the worlds most deployed PSIM (APPVISION) which perfectly fits for the job. After doing a lot of coordination through the Project

management and involving expertise from Envision and Prysm France, the integration ship sailed. Our management decided to give our end-user full control of his building through the software and consequently we went one mile

further by adding the hardware elements and giving the ability to the facility management to directly control the Hardware from the unified platform even if the system servers fails.(not just a server to

server integration) now we are only editing the graphics through our expert graphics developers and

the project is going to be handed over soon.

C a s e S t u d i e s2-Security Integration case study: New KOUT MALL Building:The new KOUT Mall Project will be adjacent to the old one allowing the integrated mall to be one of the biggest Shopping and entertainment centers on the planet. The following challenges were confronting the end-user company:1) Having a fully integrated security system that can manage on an enterprise level the security challenge of dealing with thousands of people ate the same time Having the flexibility to integrate the systems in the old mall altogether with the new mall to be controlled from one control room2) Allowing the expansion of the system to the new buildings to be added to it while avoiding manufacturers lock-in.3) Making a double use of the footfall system to monitor business needs using video analytics and to report congestions and problems at the same time to the security team4) Giving the future ability to integrate other systems also to the same platform

Envision took the challenge to integrate CCTV, Access control, Intrusion Alarm, intercom, Footfall system, Parking management and parking guidance systems. The double use of veilux inview software and Cameras to do the double role of security and business analysis altogether with the extended capabilities of APPVISION PSIM software helped in integrating the CCTV of two different vendors (veilux and siqura) the Access control which is getting 60% of the market in Europe (Iprotect), the grade 3 intrusion system from Honeywell and the parking systems from Xerox USA.
