AIR FREIGHT Atlas handles transportation of ordinary cargo by air

and this is applicable in exports and imports. This

service is one on one stop tailored to customers’ needs.

SEA FREIGHT We handle both light and heavy cargo in container via

Sea and clear at all points of entry. We also offer loose

cargo or consolidations from major cities around the

world. Our cutting edge is the high level of service and

information offered at any one time.

COUNTRYWIDE LOGISTICS Atlas currently offers speedy, delivery of all types of

cargo locally, efficient and low cost delivery

temperature sensitive and delicate shipments. Our

experience in the bio-pharm transportation business is

undoubtedly the best, clients like Joint Medical Stores,

Medical Access and Ministry of Health are a few of the

clients that have benefited from our effective

transportation services countrywide especially

upcountry.

Cold chains are common in the food and

pharmaceutical industries and also some chemical

shipments. One common temperature range for a cold

chain in pharmaceutical industries is 2 to 8C but the

specific temperature (and time at temperature)

tolerances depend on the actual product being shipped.

These include removals and deliveries of

various items in different quantities, qualities

and classifications locally from client’s stores

to various destinations including the Most

Remote areas of the country locally all over

Uganda.

Our local distributions are supported by the

logistics arm that organizes transport/carriage

to the specified destination through the number

of vehicles that we own. We diligently carry

out deliveries using the shortest period given

distances and accessibility but never fail to

locate of deliverto any destinations.

of steel and approximately 400TEUs as a result

of the new construction works in the country.

Management:

MR. SAM MWANJE – Managing Director

He has managed Atlas Cargo Systems Ltd since

1995 as the Director in Operations. Before then

he worked as a Manager in former Uganda

Commercial Bank and resigned to start ACSL in

1994. He is a past president of Muyenga rotary

Club in the largest Rotary District 9200. Holder

of B.A Economics and Diploma in Transport

Management, customs procedures and

Forwarding.

MR. ISREAL OBBO – Director

He is the finance Director and Secretary for Atlas

Cargo Systems Ltd since 1995. Before then he

worked as a credit Manager for former UCB

before joining KPMG as an International Auditor

and Holds an MB.A Economics, rural Economy

and hold a Dip in Financial Management and an

ACCA graduate.

MR. ADITO GEOFFREY –Director.

He is in charge of operations for Atlas Cargo

Systems Ltd since 1997. Holder of B.A

Commerce, ACCA up to Level II Advanced

Diploma in Customs procedures and Taxation,

Diploma Logistics management and

procurement and certificate in EACCPC (East

African Customs Clearing Practicing

Certificate).

Manager.

She’s in charge of Administration, Logistics and

IT for Atlas Cargo Systems Ltd since 1995.

customs clearing and Forwarding, Advanced

MR. SAM NSEREKO – Manager Field

He is in charge of all field operations especially

CBC Nakawa and also re-exports for clients. He

holds a Diploma clearing & Forwarding and also

holds a certificate in East Africa Customs

Procedures & rules and Certificate in EACCPC.

MS. IRENE NAGAWA – Administration and

Logistics Manager.

She is in charge of all the field operations, especially

handling imports and re-exports. She is also

responsible for handling all clients’ cargo & making

sure that delivery is done. She also handles all

Administrative issues and all Human Resource

related issues. She holds a Bachelor of Social

Sciences from Muk. and a certificate in EACCPC

from URA.

MISS JOSEPHINE OYELLA – Business

Development

She is in charge of Marketing for Atlas Cargo

Systems Ltd since 2008. She holds a Higher Diploma

in Marketing and Bachelors of procurement &

Logistics Management.

MR. PATRICK. AWENE –Accounts

He is in charge of the company Finance. He holds a

B.Com accounting and a student of ACCA.

MISS LAMULAH NAIGAGA – Customer

service in charge.

She is in charge of information and data flow both

internally and externally to clients, maintaining the

file system for all clients’ details for Atlas Cargo

Systems Ltd since 1999. She holds Bachelor of

Science in information Technology and Advanced

diploma in software engineering and information

Systems management and also holds a certificate in

EACCPC.

MR. THOMAS ILADO – Manager Entebbe

He is in charge of all operations at Entebbe office

and also controls all cargo movement cleared

through Entebbe. He has been with Atlas Cargo

Systems since 1999 up to date. He holds Diploma in

UDBS and Diploma Clearing & Forwarding.

Miss. TAKALI MARTHA – Manager

Malaba/Busia branch

She is in charge of all operational activities at the

border points of clearance in Uganda on behalf of

Atlas Cargo Systems Ltd and has been working

here since 1999 to date. He holds a Diploma in

Clearing & Forwarding and has 20 yrs of

experience in this industry.
