Our new headquarters building is in Osaka Business Park, known to have the lowest disaster risk in central Osaka. The building and equipment are robustly constructed to withstand earthquakes and power outages, enabling uninterrupted transmission at all times. The internal facilities employ CO2-reducing technologies suited to the characteristics of each zone, making the entire building environmentally friendly.

One of its production studios is among the largest 3D-horizont studios in wes te rn Japan , accomoda t i ng mu l t ip le se t s . Two new 4K/HDR-equipped sub-rooms are installed for flexible adaptation to changes in content production formats.

A crowd-drawing hub connecting Osaka Castle Parkwith the TownThe YTV symbol greets visitors at the entrance. The main lobby 10 Plaza is a circular open-air space accessible by all visitors. 24-hour program viewing and public viewing are offered on a 372-inch 10 vision (high-definition LED) screen, one of the largest in western Japan. This is aimed to create local excitement and promote affection for YTV.

YTV's individual sales for Term 63 (April 1, 2019-March 31, 2020) decreased to 64,055 million yen (94.2% YoY), and operating income was 2,344 million yen (29.6% YoY). Ordinary income was 4,588 million yen (44.1% YoY), and net income decreased to 3,532 million yen (43.4% YoY).Spot broadcast sales totaled 35,072 million yen, maintaining our position as the top Osaka station for the sixth consecutive term.

"My Hero Academia"The “Ultra” Stage:A TRUE HEROMultifaceted expansion of a popular comics series into anime, a movie, and a stage musical. The stage musical that premiered in spring 2019 was well-received both domestically and in Shanghai, and its sequel has run in Tokyo and Osaka in 2020, making it a mega-hit 2.5-dimensional musical show.

Vincent van Gogh ExhibitBold brush strokes of vivid color. Some 50 works by Vincent van Gogh including "Cypresses" were on exhibit, along with works by Impressionists and artists of the Hague School who influenced him. The exhibit displayed the artist's energetic evolution during his 10-year work span.

The world's first fireworks event authorized by the rock band QUEEN. 13,000 fireworks were set off to the music of A Bohemian Rhapsody and other famous QUEEN songs, fascinating 24,500 spectators. The melding of a traditional Japanese culture and the music of QUEEN brilliantly decorated the night sky over Osaka Bay.

A China-Japan joint project drama for simulcasting on large-scale platforms in both countries. The business has expanded to include simultaneous distribution of the comicalized format, LINE stickers and DVDs. It stars Yuki Furukawa, known in China as nán shén ("Mr. Perfect"). Program-related events were held to wide acclaim in China.

Texting in Tokyo

Program sales overseasWe sell numerous programs of a wide variety of genres, mainly anime and drama. Remakes of dramas and anime have also been produced and broadcast overseas. "365: Repeat the Year", the Korean remake of the January 2018 season drama "Wheel of Fortune", started airing in Korea on March 23, 2020.

Read-Aloud Sessions by Professional AnnouncersSince FY2013, our announcers have been offering read-aloud sessions for 3rd graders at elementary schools across the Kinki (Kansai) area, using the "Uwabaki Cook" picture books. Sessions have been held in 62 schools in six Kinki (Kansai) prefectures to date, conveying the attraction of reading and verbal communication to pupils.

Cardiovascular Charity Golf Tournaments to fight Cardiovascular DiseasesThe tournaments began in 2013 in support of efforts to fight cardiovascular diseases such as heart disease and cerebral strokes, and many medical specialists and business owners in the Kansai area have participated. Thanks to the sponsors and supporters of the cause, we have been able to donate sizable amounts to the Cardiovascular Disease Research Promotion Foundation every year.

Prog-LabProg-Lab is a robot programming class for children with the goal of "nurturing the skills to realize dreams", jointly operated with Hankyu Hanshin Holdings. Current membership is roughly 4,000 nationwide, mainly in the Kansai and Kanto regions, and we aim to expand further.

YTV Kyobashi BuildingThe building that had been our headquarters since August 1988 has been renovated after the relocation, renamed "YTV Kyobashi Building", and has become available for rental as of April 2020.
