RCCB - a practical example

MCBs only interrupt overcurrents

A ground fault usually gets not interrupted

For this reason RCCBs should be used

It protects against faults over a high impedance

RCCBs provide protection for people and against fire

Learning summary

Let´s summarize what you have learned.

With many standard applications the S200 and SH200 can beemployed in the same manner.

 Restrictions arise through:

the limited certification of the SH200

 the restricted product portfolio

the flexible terminals on the S200

 and when adding special functions
