The Northern Railway Men

This is an exciting undertaking, where men interested in model railways will construct a railway shire based on the City of Playford, which will become a working model on display throughout the Playford region.

Come with your ideas and skills and become part of this hands-on project. The group will meet weekly at the Men’s Shed.

Men’s Shed The Playford Men’s Shed is open five days per week and the Men’s Shed Committee meets fortnightly.

Men's shed provides ongoing training on:

• Work Health and Safety• Standard Operation Procedures• First-Aid• VolunteeringAll new members undertake an induction process to ensure safety in the work place.

The Playford Men’s shed has the traditional Men’s Shed activities such as wood-working and metal-work. The Men’s Shed is also a key hub location for men in the Playford region to access information on men’s services, with clear links and pathways to relevant services and programs within the Playford region.

Membership: $40 per year

Gold coin donation per visit encouraged to cover coffee, tea, etc.

The Men’s Shed is a partnership between the Playford Men’s Shed Committee and the City of Playford.
