Decentralized renewable energy generation represents the singlemost immediate and feasible means to produce renewable energy at a
broad scale without reliance on longdistance transmission lines...
It's inevitable that we're going to create a greener economy in theU.S. The question is, will we make this transition fast enough, andfair enough. That's the challenge: to get as many jobs and as muchjustice out of this transition as possible. We have an ecological andeconomic crisis at the same time. When you try to resolve a crisis,you can try to resolve it on terms most favorable to rich people ,or to ordinary people. You can try to resolve the crisis in a way
that's most favorable to the status quo , or to real change.
No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness thatcreated it.
