Community Health Certificate of Completion Are you passionate about health and wellness issues, such as childhood obesity, hypertension, healthcare disparity, infectious disease epidemics, environment and health, and workplace safety (to name a few)? Do you want to help entire groups of people by changing their health behaviors and health resources, rather than just treating individual sick patients? The Certificate of Completion in Community Health is a 15 credit program that covers the community health concepts of mental health and addiction, health equity and social justice, and public health issues. Courses in this program are focused with an interdisciplinary approach. Students will bridge theory into application and develop work-ready, practitioner skills. Additionally, program students will use case studies, active learning, and group work to apply their knowledge to curriculum requirements.
