Please find enclosed a bid package for the proposed work for the FleischmannsCommunity Garden located on Wagner Ave, Fleischmanns NY (Next to Park). This workis being undertaken as part of the Fleischmanns First Initiative along with funding fromthe O'Connor Foundation and being administered by the MARKProject.In this bid package you will find a Scope of Work. Please read it over and feel free tocontact me with any questions. I'm also enclosing a Bid Summation sheet and a Non-Collusive Bidding Certificate for you to fill out. These, along with your Certificate ofWorkers Compensation Insurance, and your bid is due in the MARK office June 11th bynoon.If you're interested in bidding on this project, please attend the pre bid walk through onWednesday June 5 th at 10am. F L E I S C H M A N N S ' C O M M U N I T Y G A R D E NRaised Bed GardensFollowing the layout provided, construct twelve (12) individual raised bed gardenboxes 2'xlO'x 3 0 " using 2x10 hemlock stacked three high and assembled wStainless steel screwsOnce b ox is built use 2x6 Cedar or Hem lock to create a cap/border along top ofboxDrill (6) 11/2" holes in cap and install 11/2 PVC Pipe w cap over exposed end,These should measure at least 3' high beyond top cap and serve as posts for birdnetting.At bottom of box install metal mesh to keep out rodents, and then add 6" layer ofcrushed stone for drainage, then layer of landscape fabric followed by 10" ofmulch (provided by the Village of Fleischmanns no charge, you must load andhaul) and a final 12" layer of Positive Nutrient Soil.Fasten numbers on each bed 1-12* See Drawing at end** All fasteners to be stainless steel** 4 feet apartHandicapped BoxesFollowing the layout provided, construct four (4) individual raised bed gardenboxes 4 'x 4 'x 30" using 2x10 hemlock stacked three high and assembled wStainless steel screwsOnce bo x is built use 2x6 C edar or Hemlock to create a cap/border along top ofboxDrill 11/2" holes in cap and install 11/2 PVC Pipe w cap over exposed end, Theseshould measure at least 3' high beyond top cap and serve as posts for bird netting.4 total.

Compost BinAss em ble Th ree (3) Pallets vertically creating left/ right and back wa lls on frontattach double lx 2 's on each side creating channel 1 3/4" wide. Cut 4 Cedar orHemlock 2x6 boards to fit in slots and leave loose in channels.Cut 11/2" PVC pipe slightly wider than pallets and drill many . 25 " holes in pipefor air. These pipes will be used to lie in layers of compost to aerate material.Some additional holes may need to be drilled in compost side walls toaccommodate piping.* See Drawing at end** All fasteners to be stainless steelPrice includin g all labor and m aterials $

W ater Tank and StandUsing Cedar or Hemlock 2"x4"x4' lay on top of each other and drill hole in center.Bolt hole and create two crosses. Fasten 2/4's on both sides of bottom, one incenter and two more 2x4 s at both sides of top. Install food safe barrel (55 gallondrum ) in rack wh ere laid out in garden area. Install spigot in barrel hole and ensurethat it does not leak. Ne ed to make a top hole for Village to supply w ater.
