Digital Technology Beginning Digital PhotographyAges 16 & UpDo you have a digital camera and want to take great pictures? Come learn from a professional photographer. This class will introduce the basics of digital photography – different types of compositions, how to utilize light, and how to make the most of the manual settings on your camera. Students need to bring their own camera. Beginner Crochet ClassAges 15 & upLearn the basic skills of crocheting and pattern reading. This course provides the student an opportunity to try different weights of yarn and hook sizes. You will have the opportunity to apply basic crochet techniques in the completion of two small projects. All supplies are provided. Intermediate Crochet ClassAges 15 & upFor those who have basic beginner crochet skills, this class will introduce more complex stitch patterns, and focus on individual student projects, such as garment construction, or home decor items. Must have completed the beginner class or equivalent. Cake Decorating Extravaganza!Ages 15 & UpLearn basic cake decorating. This fun filled interactive class includes icing without crumbs, how to use different tips, basic flowers and roses, design secrets and handwriting piping skills. Instructor Spencer Campbell is a bassist, multi-instrumentalist, and a composer. Basic to Advanced VoiceAdults 18 & up; Children 8 and-up This course provides instruction in voice (singing) and focuses on vocal fundamentals, harmony, pitch, scales (major-minor) volume, vocal cord care, singing lead and harmony.

Basic GuitarAdults 18 & up; Children 8 & upThis basic course is the study and playing of the guitar. Focus is on tempo, guitar timing, fret board, chord structure, and introductory theory (note reading).

Basic PianoAdults 18 & up; Children 8 & upThis basic course is the study and playing of the piano. Focus is on keyboard fundamentals, chord structure, tempo, introductory theory (note reading).

Health and Relaxation

PilatesAges 18 & UpPilates is an innovative mind-body exercise developed by Joseph Pilates. Mat Pilates exercises are done on the floor (with or without props). The class focuses on basic Pilates Principles: Core Strength, breath control, flexibility, and correct alignment. The Pilates method works well for a wide range of people from athletes, dancers, seniors, women rebounding from pregnancy, and those at various stages of physical rehabilitation. Training & Professional DevelopmentCDL Permit Prep ClassAges 18 & UpThis class helps prepare you for the DMV permit test for your CDL. We review general knowledge, portions of the CDL manual, watch scenario videos, and work through practice tests. The instructor has years of CDL experience and is ready to help you succeed with your first step towards a CDL license. Price includes study booklet. Writing Your Mythical JourneyAges 16 & Up

This course is designed as a writing workshop. Using journaling techniques and writing exercises, participants will journey within and create a mythical adventure with self as the protagonist. Participants will learn the elements of story and the power of myth. Your Brilliant Path workbook is included with tuition.

Welding 101Ages 16 & Up

Do you want a sample of what it’s like to have a career in welding? Or wished you knew how to weld a metal object that just broke? This class will give you an overview of welding techniques and best practices! Gain an understanding of blueprint reading and practice 4 different welding methods: Stick Welding, MIG Welding, TIG Welding, and Oxyacetylene Torch Welding. Our first class will cover safety and procedures. Plan for an active and hands-on welding experience! Students must bring their own welding cap, safety glasses, goggles, welding hood and pliers. NO FLAMMABLE CLOTHING-PLEASE WEAR COTTON.
