MOBILE CRISIS RESPONSE TEAMS Community Based Crisis Services What is a Mobile Crisis Response Team? Teams help people who are experiencing a situation where the person’s behavioral health needs exceed the person’s resources to effectively handle the circumstances. Teams consist of mental health professionals who can provide support to people experiencing a mental health, alcohol and drug, or intellectual and development disabilities crisis. Teams are available to the public 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Teams provide community-based crisis services in the location where the person is experiencing the crisis.
