What is a Mobile Crisis Response Team?

• Teams help people who are

experiencing a situation where the

person’s behavioral health needs

exceed the person’s resources to

effectively handle the circumstances.

• Teams consist of mental health

professionals who can provide

support to people experiencing a

mental health, alcohol and drug,

or intellectual and development

disabilities crisis.

• Teams are available to the public

24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

• Teams provide community-based

crisis services in the location where

the person is experiencing the crisis.
