SUNY COBLESKILL FIGHTING TIGER WEEKLY RECAP 1/11/21

The SUNY Cobleskill men’s baseball team has received votes in the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper (CBN) Nation Pre-Season Poll for the 2021 season for the first time in program history. The Fighting Tigers are coming off a Covid-19 shortened 2020 campaign which saw them post an 8-5 overall mark for the year while finishing ranked among the NCAA Division III national team statistical leaders in home runs closing the campaign ranked 28th in the country with 10 home runs in 13 games.

Individually three Fighting Tiger players were identified as the Top NCAA Division III Baseball Players for the 2021 campaign according to CBA. Junior outfielder Nick Thomas, Scotia, N.Y., Scotia-Glenville High School/Hudson Valley Community College, junior shortstop Eddie Garcia, Bronx, N.Y., World View High School along with senior outfielder/first baseman Jayson Maxwell, Newport, N.Y., Notre Dame High School, were named by the publication as spotlighted players.

January NewsHappy New Year from Schoharie County Public Transportation! We wish to thank our riders for their cooperation while we continue to operate during these challenging times.

Schoharie County Public Transportation will be closed on January 18th in observance of Martin Luther King Day.

Our office hours have changed and beginning January 4th, the office will be staffed until 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.

In case of inclement weather, please check TV channels 6 or 13 or the message board on our website www.ridescpt.com for announcements of closing or delays.

Masks/face coverings continue to be required to board the bus and must remain on throughout the duration of your trip. Seating is limited due to social distancing. All vehicles are disinfected daily for your safety. For passenger use, disinfecting wipes are available at the entry door.

Attention Veterans! If you are using our Route 20 service to go to the Veteran’s Administration Hospital we are asking for your assistance. We are asking veterans utilizing our service to try to make their VA appointments on Wednesdays. This will help us coordinate trips and conserve resources. We understand this is not always possible.
