After just a year of tremendous growth, Salesforce Communities became the new Community Cloud. Our latest release offers a variety of new features that deliver an even richer experience for community members.

Personalization: rich topics and profiles automatically recommend content from across the community that are relevant to each members unique interests. Reputation scoring awards each user new levels based upon their level of contribution and highlights them as experts on particular topics. Users can endorse one another for their expertise on specific topics and award each other badges for their contributions that show up on their user profiles and in their feed.Connected: users can see community content without logging in to the community making it even more easily accessible to potential new members. Communities are now search engine optimized, so community discussions show up in searches at any popular internet search engine enabling new users to easily discover the community.Mobile: Communities are accessible in the Salesforce1 mobile app or on any mobile web browser. However a user wants to access the community, they get the same rich branded experience on any device from any location.Fast: Community templates provide a ready-made and tested framework to quickly build a customized community that integrates data and is mobile accessible and optimized for any device.Salesforce Community Cloud UpdatePresented by Eric Scheel, CTO Magnet 360Eric Scheel co-founded Reside (now Magnet 360) in 2001, and today serves as the companys Chief Technology Office and most senior technical consultant.
