In particular, we do not guarantee completeness, exhaustiveness and compliance with the current organization, company structure or typology, characteristics, marketability and fitness for purpose of the products, services and activities of Keyless®, who is available to provide any relevant information. Keyless® reserves the right to make adjustments and changes to the information contained in the handbook without prior notice, as well as to vary and to change the products, the services and the activities described herein, without it rising any kind of rights for a third-party. In order to reduce paper consumption, we decided to minimise the description inherent to the use and installation in this manual, whilst mantaining the greatest clarity. It is important to keep this handbook to be able to consult it at any time. Tech Handbook

All Keyless® products are certified and under warranty only if installed by qualified personnel.Before you begin the installation, make sure that the system is highly compatible with your power circuit. Under no circumstance is Keyless® and its retailers responsible for erroneous purchase, incompatibility of the products sold and/or installed by unqualified personnel, loss of earnings or money due to malfunctioning of Keyless systems.THE INSTALLATION AND THE CONNECTION OF THE PRODUCTS MUST BE CARRIED OUT WITHOUT A/C POWER.Cut the power from the electrical panel or the counter; it is good to install a thermal magnetic circuit breaker with 6A at least to maintain the system, it also has to conform to the local standards in force.EARTHING THE POWER SUPPLY IS REQUIRED BY LAW.Keyless® accepts no responsibility for possible damages suffered by people, things, pets or property, due to non-compliance with the rules described herein. The system downstream of the power supply is low voltage (12V) and it does not constitue a danger for people.

All Keyless® products have a 24 months warranty from the date of purchase over the whole European territory.The warranty is valid for products found to have structural manufacturing or functio-nal defects. Under no circumstances should the warranty be understood as onsite, but offsite. The detecting of defects, the dismantling, the shipment of the damaged pro-duct to Keyless® headquarters, as well as the delivery charges regarding the interven-tion, have to be carried out by the installer. Keyless® guarantees the product and its functioning only if the product is correctly installed without adjustments for its only purpose of use; using the product not as intended invalidates the warranty.Keyless® is not responsible for damages caused to things or people, for the inappro-priate use or installation of the product, nor for damages resulting from non-use due to damages or defects, loss of earning, inactivity or non usability. It is up to the instal-ler to communicate a possible defect as soon as possible via e-mail to the addresse [email protected]. After a brief evaluation following the handbooks recommended by Keyless®, the de-fected or malfunctioning product can be returned to be repaired or replaced. The new or repaired product will not have a new 24 months warranty, but it will be covered by the official warranty given at the time of purchase.All products damaged by power surges, thunderstorms and adverse weather condi-tions, earthquakes, floodings or break-in attempts performed through mechanical manipulation, erroneous connections or reversed polarity are not covered by warranty.All legal disputes are reserved to the jurisdiction of the Foro of Treviso (Italy).

Placement of central unit

It‘s VERY IMPORTANT to install the unit in a locationwith EXCELLENT GSM signal.

Avoid absolutely positions without reached by the GSM network, or with poor quality of the signal (the only red LED lights is not’ sufficient).

To assess the perfect signal position, use the GSM-QF Keyless instrument (optional) sold separately.

WARNING: the positioning of the central unit, identified by own mobile phone it‘svery rough and It does NOT guarantee the stable receivement of GSM signal.

Keyless Kit with unstable GSM connection, can be temporarily or permanently NOT be reached.

Evaluate the condition carefully!

The central unit it’s equipped with 5 LEDs for the quality’ of the signal. Before fixing the unit to the wall, insert the SIM into housing, power on the central unit and check the GSM reception

Check control GSM Communicator

Before inserting the SIM COMPLETELY OFF system,remove the PIN and your answering machine, inserting it in a mobile phone.

Insert the SIM in the GSM Communicator and turn on the system.

Wait for switching on the signal LED (at least one).

If the signals do not light and the form is unreachable, check:

1> The SIM holder (check the SIM and ‘inserted properly)

2> Reset the GSM module shorting the two holes with the word RESET, until the ofall 3 signal LED, after that ‘release holes and wait 2 minutes.

3> Check the cable that connects the modem to the motherboard

4> Check the SIM (it‘s active?)The SIM must be of type VOICE and not DATA.

5> Move the controller in a place more ‘suitable for the reception of the signal (thick walls, reinforced concrete, metal cages, cramped closets, basement, etc.) prevent proper reception.

6> Apply the antenna (optional) with 3 meter cable and magnetic base, placing it in a more ‘receptive area.

7> The GSM Communicator NOT accept SIM UMTS. All messaging should be done by other operators both incoming and outgoing.

8> Totally shut off the system, disconnecting a battery terminal and the mains voltage (220V)

In case of no response from the GSM Communicator, ensure:

1> The residual credit on the SIM (and ‘advisable to enable Auto-recharge option from your manager)

2> The state port: the module processes messages and therefore responds only with the door closed.

3> The status of the SIM card if the SIM is recharged at least once a year (dependent), expires and is deactivated. If, to reactivate the SIM from the network operator.


WARNING!The Keyless units interact with the negative terminal.

Relay, door opener button, Day & Night, sensor, etc.They are connected or bridged

EXCLUSIVELY to NEGATIVE (GND).

Incorrect connections (positive + 12V)irreversibly damage the control unit.

Lead-acid batteries of the Keyless unitsThey must be changed periodically according to their usage status.

Generally a lead-acid battery has a maximum duration of 24 months.The duration of time it‘s determined by the structure of the lead-acid batteries.

To ensure the continuity of exercise of the Keyless units in case of power failure, it‘s good practice to replace the lead acid battery every 12 months.

Inserting the SIM card (insert SIM enabled phone calls)

Before inserting the SIM (enabled phone) in the GSM module:disable the PIN request on startup and your answering machine by inserting the SIM into a mobile phone, entering the PIN and canceling the request from the menu, then call your phone company and power off the autoresponder system.

To insert the SIM card, open the box, slide up the housing by a few millimeters, insert the SIM, press and slide down the slot until seated.


Master password of the system administrator and RESET

The GSM module interacts and controls the kits Keyless SMS with initial Master

password consists of 5 digits number.

The Master password of sent SMS messages must match the Master password

Keyless kits to be controlled.

At each closing of the door, the Keyless Kit transfers the Master password to the

GSM Communicator.

The system also controls the principal’s telephone number of the SMS commands.

If not corresponding to the list of administrators, the command sent via SMS is

discarded without reply.

RESET GSM Communicator

Communicator can be reset in 2 ways:

- Via App

- Physically, shortcut the two contacts labeled RESET on the card (returns the

module to factory settings with Master password 00000).

Shortcut two contacts on the module board, wait until all the signal quality of the

LED on, release the shortcut.

Wait about one minute, the normal LED power on ‘quality’ of the signal “

The Communicator module is configured via the App Keyless 485 for SmartPhone.All call functions and SMS are automated by the system.

Communicator can be programmed in two different ways:

1 - Relay excitable only by SMS2 - Relay with excitable call (free) and SMS

Communicator can ‘work mode’ Stand-Alone (without being connected to a keyless entry kit) and manage up to 5 excitable relay for 1 sec. also in sequence.
