Introducing ELINT solutions from Rohde & Schwarz New and innovative radar signal interception and analysis system

Rohde & Schwarz offers a complete portfolio of radar

signal collection and analysis products. Our new system

is focused on operator usability and functionality and

contains many features that support the operator in

dense signal environments.

The system features cutting-edge components, ensuring

that it benefits from all the advantages associated with

modern lossless digital signal processing. The highly

sensitive receiving equipment is capable of intercepting

and analyzing today’s low-power radar signals. The

software and hardware complement each other perfectly

and provide the operator with a fully integrated solution

for ELINT collection and analysis tasks.

Introducing an innovative generation of integrated naval communications systemsR&S®NAVICS

As a system integrator, we offer a comprehensive suite

of secure communications solutions for advanced naval

applications.

R&S®NAVICS is a fully IP-based integrated system

providing internal and external voice and data commu-

nications. It features future-oriented technology and is

user-friendly and cost-effective. With a key focus on

communality and serviceability, the system is scalable

from small patrol boats up to large carrier-size vessels.

R&S®NAVICS will be integrated on board modern plat-

forms such as the Royal Navy’s Type 26 global combat

ships (GCS), the Royal Malaysian Navy’s littoral combat

ships (LCS) and the German Minehunter MJ 332.

Enabling network centric operationsMobile tactical communications Information superiority ensures a common operational picture, which is required in order to succeed in military missions. Rohde & Schwarz, the party responsible for the German Armed Forces’ joint radio system (SVFuA), pro-vides the crucial element for interoperability and network centric operations: software defined tactical radios in conjunction with innovative high data rate networking waveforms. Communications lines are secured with high-grade encryption and fast frequency hopping.

To allow voice and data communications between strate-gic, public and legacy networks, tactical switches from third-party vendors are integrated into the mobile tactical communications system. Together with the mobile adhoc networking capabilities of the SDRs, extended range and non-hierarchical networking at all hierarchical levels is ensured.
