Share A couple of months ago, Volkswagen gave
its hot hatch the Polo a mid-generation facelift. Coinciding with the introduction of
the new 1.5-litre TDI diesel engine, VW also managed to give the Polo subtle exterior
changes that have gone on to improve the car European looks.
When Skoda entered the Indian market a little over a decade ago, not many people had heard of the company. Yet, it just took a single brand like the Octavia to establish the Czech automaker as the first mover in the premium sedan segment.
Honda Cars India (HCIL) is recalling 2,338 units of its hatchback Brio, compact sedan Amaze and sports utility vehicle CR-V manufactured between September 2011 and July 2014 to replace a faulty part related to airbags.

The performance of Toyota in the field of hybrid cars has been impressive to say the least. Toyota Motor Corporation has reached the magic figure of seven million units’ sales in the first nine months of the current calendar year and still going strong. The manufacturer at present sells 27 hybrid models and plug-in hybrid in over 90 nations across the globe.
11 women and 32 men were awarded from 38 Group locations
across 18 countries on 5 continents to apprentices who demonstrated
excellent performance and specialist competence. Globally, Volkswagen
Group is training about 20,000 young people.
Honda Cars India Ltd (HCIL) has sold more than one lakh cars powered by its diesel engine in the domestic market. The company first introduced its 1.5L i-DTEC diesel engine in India in April 2013 with Honda Amaze and was sequentially introduced in 4th Generation Honda City in January 2014 and mid-size MPV Honda Mobilio in July 2014.
Nissan recalled 9000 units of hatchback Micra and Sunny to replace the defective airbags. The recall is equipped with safety airbags made by Takata supplier.
